We are Ray & Tammy Kim, a husband-and-wife team that share a love for math, teaching/coaching, and working with youth. Tammy is a High School Math Teacher with a Master's in Education from UCLA and a BA from UC Berkeley. She has extensive experience as a Middle School & High School Math Teacher and has tutored all age groups. Tammy strives to meet the learning needs of each of her students and believes that an engaging and collaborative environment is essential for learning. Ray has an Accounting degree and is currently pursuing a Master's in Accounting and Data Analytics online at Arizona State University. Ray is a Contract Auditor for the United States Department of Defense and audits government military contracts. He also has experience in business management and mortgage financing.

We believe that learning math is not just about knowing content or being able to memorize steps. It’s about becoming adept problem solvers through the development of critical and strategic thinking skills. For middle school students, we aim to build a strong foundation of Pre Algebra and/or Algebra skills that thoroughly prepare them for rigorous high school math courses. For high school students, it is imperative that we work with families to provide not only the best individualized instruction, but also accountability for reaching their full potential. We value ongoing communication in order to ensure that this goal is met.
